History Of Bharakhara
It is said that about 250-300 years ago the area which is now known as Bharakhara was inhabited by few Muslim, Harijan and Paswan. The people of these three communities were very poor, they used to live their life by farming and animal husbandry. Around the same time a few Bramhans from Gahamar village of Ghazipur district migrated to this place for resettlement purpose after having been hit by flood. They found this place favorable to lead a life, then they arranged for their living here and gradually started cultivating this village. In the meantime, they went to their village and they told their relatives about this village and then gradually many more Bramhan families came to this village. The people of the Bramhan community wanted to build their houses in one area but there were many houses of Harijan community people in that area, so the people of the Bramhan community gave their land to the people of the Harijan community so that they could built their houses in one area. The people of Harijan community accepted this and they went a little further and built their houses in one area the name of the place was later named as Taranpur. The Native people of this village, Muslims and Paswan community, stayed in this village. After that, people of the Bramhan community encouraged people of every community to come to this village so that a society can be formed. Influenced by their lifestyle and behavior many more peoples from different community migrated to this village and thus they managed many houses and formed a village which was named Bharakhara. The meaning of this village name Bharakhara is still a puzzle.
